May Allah Bless America
Preznit Bush has these words of consolation to the fine folks at the Indonesian Embassy expressing his sympathies for the victims of tsunami-stricken Indonesia.
"Make God bless the people of Indonesia."
Can you even imagine if parts of the Muslim world reached out to the US after 9-11 with the words "May Allah Bless the USA?"
Also, Preznit Bush has solicited the aid of his daddy and Bill Clinton to help encourage private contributions to aid the victims. However...
Bush himself has not yet made a contribution to the relief effort, but plans to give an unspecified amount, McClellan said. The president did not mention his own plans for giving in his remarks.
His compasion is simply overwhelming.
